Our Industrial Products Business Unit widens our scope further still, offering products to suit markets as diverse as medical, optical, broadcast and IT multinationals.
Canon Europe contributes around one third of Canon’s global sales revenue and employs in the region of 11,000 people across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

DICOM compliance
With our compliance to the standard of Digital images and communication in Medicine (DICOM) the digital images generated by our products can be combined with hospital information and stored on the central digital picture archive of the hospital and clinic, with the communication system the images can easily be retrieved to the location of the health care specialist through-out the hospital.
