Takagi has been established since 1955. Takagi Manufacturing later renamed as Takagi Seiko has its home in the Nagano, famous throughout Japan for high precision manufacturing. Takagi began exporting products first to the USA in the early 1970’s. Takagi has continuously and steadily expanded in each sector, including Research and Development, Manufacturing and Sales.

Takagi enjoys extremely close relationships with its worldwide customers, providing training at the Takagi plant in Japan, unparalleled technical support and after-sales customer care. Our experts within Takagi are able to support both the Ophthalmology and Optometric sectors globally.

Takagi Europe was established in the U.K. in 2006. Its primary purpose is to focus on the changing needs in the Ophthalmology market whilst providing the highest quality service to our customers in European countries.

All Takagi products will remain “Made in Japan” – the highest quality Japanese precision engineering combined with world-class expertise. The goal is to make this superior ‘Takagi’ technology more easily accessible to European countries at competitive prices.

Takagi acquired ISO13485 to meet international standards and all the products are certified with CE marking. We also enjoy a long established business partnership with distributors from the U.K., Italy, Spain and Portugal.
